We
first meet with the client to define his needs and
preferences and discuss the options open to him.
In this step we acquire pictures, drawings and all
the material required for a scale drawing of the design |

Using
the material collected in step 1, we create a neutral
scaled 3-D for use in subsequent phases of the project.
The drawings faithfully reproduce the aircraft since
they are derived directly from the construction drawings
and photographs supplied by the client. |

We
now develop our ideas in the form of sketches, drafts
and outline drawings.
We evaluate the various solutions to identify which
is most suited for further development. This is the
time at which it is decided whether to give the aircraft
an elegant, sporting, military, racing, etc. |

After
developing some of the ideas we believe are suited to
the client's requirements, we discuss them together
with him and decide whether to select one of them or
develop further proposals.
In this phase the drawings, which are created in a computer
graphics environment, are already highly detailed. |

The
client's selected scheme is now processed and fully
developed for use in the subsequent phases.
We create a number of perspective views, rendered for
a photo-realistic effect; these enable us to evaluate
the result from various points of view and avoid unwanted
effects in the definitive version.
Once the aircraft's livery has been completed to the
smallest detail, it is translated into a number of dimensional
drawings and/or vector files for full size masking,
so that is possible to replicate the paint scheme exactly
on the aircraft in full size. |
